Research

From developing individual technologies
to systems that support the entire research process

Life science research relies on precise experimental operations and consistent data acquisition. RSCC develops the core technologies that support research, including cultivation, isolation, measurement and evaluation, while building a research infrastructure that connects them. By integrating these technologies into a continuous research process, we aim to help researchers focus on fundamental scientific questions.

Automated microbial cultivation system ACKNOS

Automated microbial cultivation systemACKNOS

We continuously measure microbial culture conditions and precisely control cultivation in response to changes. By learning from accumulated data and applying improved conditions to subsequent cultures, we aim to achieve highly reproducible cultivation and efficient bioproduction through autonomous operation and control.

High-precision picking system FARIOS

High-precision picking systemFARIOS

We identify microorganisms and biomolecules and select and fractionate them with high precision and throughput. By sorting large numbers of samples accurately and efficiently, we support screening, evolutionary engineering and other experiments that search broad candidate pools for high-quality samples suited to a specific purpose.
